Face Eczema: Soothe Skin & Regain Confidence!

Eczema is a very uncomfortable skin condition that causes red, scaly & itchy patches of skin and can appear on all different parts of the body. Eczema on face, hands, elbows & knees is particularly common.

Face Eczema & Confidence

Eczema on the face can make us feel insecure about our appearance. Particularly during times of stress when things can already be hard to deal with, getting eczema flare-ups just adds to the already existing stresses of everyday life and can make us feel less confident to go out.

So what can I do?

Facial Eczema is itchy and uncomfortable but it’s a difficult one to deal with. Hiding away can feel like the only option during a bad flare-up. But don’t despair as many people have found ways to manage this condition and regain some confidence! Just make sure you know your food allergies and triggers and follow a good skin routine.

Unfortunately it’s hard for doctors to say what exactly causes eczema, however there are a few simple steps you can take to maintain healthier looking skin by keeping skin clean & hydrated.

1. Moisturise

You need to keep your skin from drying out and the best way to use one is straight after you wash your face. Our customers love the high factor eczema cream which fulfils all the criteria for a soothing and effective cream. Make sure you keep your skin out of the sun as it dries out your skin and leaves your skin more susceptible to eczema outbreaks particularly on your face which gets a lot of exposure.
2. Clean Gently
It can be tempting to think that stronger facial cleaners can be more effective however we need to be gentle to our skin to allow it to heal, soothe and stop the itching. When you wash your face make sure you use cool water and not warm, warm water can feel soothing for some but actually just worsens moisture retention. This soap can be used all over the body and your face and is perfect for eczema as it doesn’t dry out skin and contains natural oils and 100% organic peony root extract.

Make sure you follow a regular skin routine that moisturises and protects your skin. And the important thing is to not just do it when you experience flare-ups but think of skin-care as preventative.
